went to tiger's house to sleep due the timing of the pinnacle race. it starts at 7am and the venue is at zhenghua's community centre, which is near his house. watched abit of the movie 'redline' and roamed around friendster profiles before getting ready for the race the next morning.
tiger's dad prepared sumptuous breakfast for us to get geared up for the race. reached the place punctually and saw pei zi there who was helping out for the race. warmed up and look around for chio bus before the race started.
beeep! and everyone started running for their own lives, leaving tiger and me trailing them behind. we got past all the checkpoints, and we were actually faster than some teams, but the problem we faced was the navigation part. everyone received navigation lessons at the race clinic but we did not. it was quite frustrating when we headed to wrong places and wasted a lot of time. eventually we ended up being the last few teams. damn !
i think i would have to train for the upcoming mizuno marathon, hopefully billy doesn't run too fast, if not i would have problems catching up.
ok i need to rest, super dead tired after the race.

today i will be getting back my math results, wilfred is going to treat me a drink if i do happen to become the top in class. i do believe i am going to be, at the same time, i need to humble. i'm starting to become arrogant, and that's the last thing i want that to happen.
on thursday, i went for the 'pinnacle' briefing and it was a shock. i just realized that tiger and me are very small in size among them, given for the fact that all the competitors are muscular and super fit. i think this competition if we were to get at least a top 6, we are considered as best of the best. firstly we never prepared for this race, secondly we thought this was going to be a enjoyable race where we could make new friends and ogle at girls. little that we expect that this was going to be a 'every team for themselves' thing. so good luck to team yuanyang !
missed out on volleyball training. damn i need to learn how to set the ball and play like a pro. right now i suck at my servicing of the ball. LOL

suddenly my tagboard has so many comments ! anyway this saturday would the ' the pinnacle ' challenge, i would be in partnership with tiger and we are going to chiong all the way for this competition. went for the race clinic today, learnt how to wear my harness and abseiling to get ourselves prepared for this trip, louis accompanied us too.
received a warning letter from ngee ann regarding the number of lessons i missed or skipped from classes. this time i think its quite serious if not i would not be able to take my final exams in august. and i would like to comment that i'm not kiasu, i just want to show some people that i can score even though i did not mug so hard in class. damn i feel so guai lan now.

hey hey hey ! it's the start of the next half of the semester. with the end of the volleyball camp, i believe trainings on tuesday and thursday would be more entertaining. but things didn't turned out the way i expected. it was a frustrating one today and i really hope it wouldn't happen again. i was taught how to set the ball and it was really stressing when your seniors are standing there watching you setting the ball.
results from the common tests were quite disappointing, given the fact i lost to those who stayed at home, but i will tell myself i will leave no mercy when it comes to the final papers on august. damn

watched the sweden - spain match, and david villa scored in the dying minutes to grab the winner against their opponents. what an exciting match, heng i stayed up till now.
today i'm heading back to school to finish up my stupid assignments and hopefully clear them by monday. next week i will be heading for volleyball camp and planning for a dinner outing. hope the response rate turns out good for me then.

previously on ' what i did ' :

met tiger and trey on the way to marina early in the morning. he planned a lunch outing, unfortunately there were only 6 of us who could afford to spare their time to meet up. i don't wanna talk about the rest, it's the holidays yet they still want to stay at home. i don't understand, what's with the staying at home thing ?
anyway wilfred was the first to reach marina, we were the second group to reach. louis and zheng rong arrived as the last group. sounds kinda like the amazing race, walked around the place and went to booked our spots at seoul garden when the manager told us we had to wait for 30 minutes. ended waiting up for more than an hour, our stomachs were grumbling like crazy.
finally got our seats inside the restaurant and we grabbed our food fast without planning tactics on keeping ourselves un-bloated. sadly i shared the same barbeque pan with wilfred who made a mess out of the whole thing, but we all had a few laughs while eating.
around 4 plus in the afternoon, louis had to leave due to an appointment with his gf and trey being the second as he had to prepare his luggage to leave for ipoh, malaysia.
it was down to the final 4 people, me tiger zheng rong and wilfred. we decided to walked to the pc show to take a peep, and our eyes were all over the areas. lots of hot pc show girls, and girls who were coming to purchase their electronic stuffs. samantha chia and her friend came later to find us in the evening, then went to their own stuffs before coming to find us again in the evening where we were at esplanade chilling out.
i closed my eyes and felt the breeze due to the lack of sleep the past few nights. after that chatted with the guys about my secondary school days. it was definitely exciting telling them what i've gone through, not wanting them to envy, but those days were definitely the best days of my life.

all in all it was a perfect outing for me and the at bros. there will be one more before the start of the next half of the semester.

friday the june 13th ! and what a time to blog ! well i went to dig photos from my laptop and posted some of them up, cycling photos. the reason why i want to post some of this cycling photos is because i do not want people to think that i have forgotten all these memories. it's really touching to look back at all these photos, those times that we spent during midnight traveling to places to see new discoveries and expecting what night life would be like in singapore.

recently i just had this midnight cycling trip with my classmates, well i already blogged about that trip experience already. imagine talk cock group members were there with us, i would bet they will also love this trip too. the rain, sand and dirt on our jerseys while we are cycling through the journey and singing all the way, it really is worth reminiscing.

damn sometimes i still cant get over the things we have done in those secondary school days, okay i know i have been repeating countless of times, but still i cant forget la. fightings, heated arguments, getting into detentions, having early breakfast when we know we are late for school already, corrective work order, caning, competing for the christ church idol, camps, playing soccer and thrashing opponents into the bin, entertaining the class with jokes and filling the whole room with laughter. if you have not enjoyed your secondary life, i can tell you you have just wasted your four years for nothing.

i did asked around my classmates what they actually did during their secondary school days, i can bet with you none of them got caned nor did corrective work order. you might think we are rebellious, but actually once you get into all these kind of unwanted troubles, you find out that you will get to know the principal, the vice principal or even the school's care taker even better. look at those nerds who studies so hard and though they get good grades, what have they actually achieved personally in their life ? for me, i learnt alot through the journey with all my brothers, i fell, yet they picked me up and bring me back to the right track of the road.

i am what i am now from a nerd during primary school days, okay i have to admit, i was vulgar and addicted to gambling while i was in secondary one. the gambling part i improved, but the vulgar part till today still can't go away.

but as time passes i realize that many of us have their own lives to lead, but why when it comes to cycling trips or gatherings, we do not seem to have the time for each other ? in secondary school, we would still meet up and talk cock sing song while we are facing stress much heavier than what we are facing now in polytechnic life. is it because of a new circle of friends? ccas ? or facing competition in class that one need to get top grades in order to shut his class up ? still, i believed that if one has the heart, just a dinner gathering would do, there's not a need to plan a glamorous outing and stuffs. as for me, i do need reflect alot on the things that i mention above. i still remembered the 17 of us guys said they we must still keep in contact no matter what, be it now or the future, die die also must keep in contact. its true we still keep in contact, but somehow i feel that special bond inside us has blown out. i really miss those bickerings and arguments we had during the recess time, when we would all sit together and make hell lot of noises.

of course during this time, there are friends of mine who are beginning to do even things which i don't know whether it's good or bad. but it's their lives, i know i should not be so meddlesome, but i still prefer the old them. it's rather unrealistic, guess only in dreams then i can see the old them. on the other hand, i have friends whom i haven't been in contact for a very long time. but what i do know is this, if i have a heart... even a sms or a call would mean something to them...

national day ! happy birthday singapore ! have to compliment dex during this trip ! he survived with his gt bike. and during this day i almost got a scare, i actually challenged a subaru while crossing the road full of cars around the bukit timah area. too bad wei qian did not took a video of that incident.

i still remember the time when i had to cycle back to woodlands under the heavy pouring rain from tanah merah changi resort. it was believed the first and the last trip under those conditions, till yesterday night.

as usual our at people met up at east coast park, by that time it was around 8pm plus, had our dinner at komala's indian vegetarian restaurant before getting our bikes from the shop. at first i thought i was going to get my hands on either a giant or raleigh bike, eventually i still rode a lousy bike. checked all the bikes' condition before leaving off for the next destination, east coast hawker centre. we had our own free-and-easy time till 10pm before gearing up to head to changi village.

by this time, the weather conditions were not what we expected, clouds begin to surround the gloomy sky. fortunately i brought a water proof pouch, as to protect all my electronic gadgets. and here came the strong winds, blowing sand and dried leaves which almost became attacking tools. we rode off to start the journey, of course the rain started to join us too. we knew we could not stop half way during the journey, so we pressed on under the heavy yet needle piercing rain. i could tell you, at that time, our visibility range was low and i could not open my eyes to see what was in front of the road. indeed it was very exciting, yet dangerous at the same time. fortunately nick keith brought his helmet with him, a thick tree branch fell and hit his head directly, if not the consequences would be fatal. the road ahead was full of fallen tree branches, some almost hit our cyclists, and fruits which have not fully ripen yet. i felt that this trip was more tougher than the previous trip with the talk cock group members, what a waste that wei qian did not come for this trip.

reached changi village safely and quite punctual before midnight, by this time, problems began to surface on some bikes. it was quite frustrating too, especially when bikes of low conditions are rented to travel long distances. sacrifices had to be made though in order to make this trip an enjoyable one. however, i liked the traveling from east coast straight to changi village though, chatted and saw many planes flew and land around the airport, of course being drenched in the rain too.

explored the area including seeing those transvestites and having a light supper at changi village before continue our cycling trip to bedok, of course our next pit-stop was at a petrol kiosk near pasir ris. by the time we reached our final stop, everyone was dead tired and mentally exhausted. ended the whole thing by having a light breakfast at an indian restaurant at bedok.

cycled back to east coast to returned the bikes, and i slept all the way back to woodlands without a care whether the bus would break down or what soever.

it was one thrilling ride, just wished the whole class came. :) but do not worry, i will organise one more trip, a combined one with the inclusion of the talk cock group members. ;)

it's going to be 8 in the evening, still staring at the laptop screen. another wasted day, without doing any single shit. received this invitation to watch this competition at mediacorp studio, turned it down and started waiting for her reply till now. will i ever have this chance of going out with her tomorrow ?
only GOD knows, i'll just have to pray hard. i don't mind sacrificing my sleeping time going all the way to tampines just to catch a movie, worst to worst i will just drink coffee to keep myself awake during the midnight cycling.
reflecting upon one's mistakes does really help, but whether one wants to correct them is another thing. i dont even know what i really want right now, damn i need some liquor now

i don't know why i have this sudden burst of emotions inside me, be it sweet, sour, bitter or spicy. i think i need some time to myself, i need to do some serious reflecting on my own. one moment i feel excited about the upcoming movie outing, the next moment i feel a little dejected at the same time. guess it's time for a drink or two. =(

i can't believe this is how i am going to suffer instead of enjoy this two weeks of holidays. being cooped up at home when there are actually so much to do out there. i can't take this any longer, i need to chill out!
spent the time chatting the whole day yesterday, given the fact i have nothing to do at home. oh remember about girl whom i asked her number ? her name's shermaine, and she's from tpjc. seriously i think i am quite lucky actually, she watches euro 2008 and she supports portugal ! =)
that's a plus point for me, and she prefers football to basketball. i'm definitely going to know her, but this takes one step at a time, don't want to rush things. there's only bad between us, she speaks fluent english, while i speak mandarin. okay i have to start speaking english, to improve my fluency and jokes to be humorous.
today's sunday, wonder what's up on the menu ? will it be me staying at home as usual or spending the night outside chilling ? we shall see about that. =)

with the mark of the end of the common test period, it's going to be the start of something even more stress than common tests, and that is the rise of the projects. but let's forget about that and talk about something i did yesterday.
headed to various places by foot of course, and saw many branded cars. especially 2 of my favorites, audi r8 and lamborghini gallardo. of course there were other cars like porshe carrera and bmw z4. spent the night playing lan games and chilling out around the SMU campus. it's was a long time since chatting with them, and spending times like this since.
boarded the bus home with tiger and yao jun and i saw this girl which attracted me way too much, and this time i knew something had to be done, and i asked her for her number. eventually she gave, but that was a mistake. it's good that she replied, but only thrice. since today i've still been waiting for her reply.
