If I had to count between my relatives and mandarin oranges, I would say the winner would be the mandarin oranges! Yay! Okay that sounded quite disappointing, because the mandarin oranges can't give me ang baos, which has always been the tradition for Chinese New Year.
Every year, I have friends telling me their increasing cash flow from their red packets, and I cannot compete with them. A smile sometimes can take away my misery.
This year's Lunar my mandarin oranges and Ipod Nano is going to be my companion throughout the festive period, except that the oranges won't last.
